Arthur's trick: wrap a thin strip of paper around the finger you'd like to wear the ring on, mark where it meets, and measure the length. Do it at the end of the day, when fingers are a little warmer and fuller. If you land between two sizes, pick the larger one.

Still unsure? Write to us before you order and we'll gladly help you choose.

After 32 years, Arthur and I are closing our workshop. Because of his arthritis, his hands can no longer do the delicate work, and I don't want him working through the pain. This piece is one of the last we made together. We hope it finds a good home with you.

The last of our handmade pieces

Every ring, bracelet and necklace here was drawn by me and made by Arthur. This is the final collection from our workshop: once a piece is gone, we can't make it again.

Thank you for choosing something made by hand.

Made by hand

From sketch to final polish

Each piece started as a pencil drawing and ended at Arthur's bench, where he shaped, set and polished it himself. Small marks of handwork are part of what makes them ours.

I bought the ring for myself and have worn it almost every day since it arrived. Lovely detail without being too much. It looks especially nice with my plain silver band.

My daughter usually picks out my jewelry, but I chose these earrings myself. She noticed them straight away and asked where I found them. Very pleased with my little purchase.

Exactly my sort of necklace. Simple enough for an ordinary day, but still feels special when I put it on. I've been wearing it with sweaters now that the weather is cooler.

Ordered a pair for my sister's birthday and ended up keeping them. Had to order another pair for her! We clearly have the same taste.

I was a little unsure about ordering jewelry online. The ring turned out to be a lovely choice. The colour is softer in person than I expected, which I actually prefer.

These earrings are comfortable enough that I forgot to take them off after lunch with friends. That's a good sign for me. Pretty, and they don't feel heavy.

My husband bought me this necklace for our anniversary. He normally needs a few hints, but he did very well this year. I've hardly worn anything else since.

Such a pretty bracelet. My wrists are quite small, so I was happy with how it sat. I wore it to a family dinner on Sunday and my granddaughter wanted a closer look.

Nothing flashy, just a lovely pair of earrings that suits me. I don't dress up very often these days, but these make even a white shirt feel a little nicer.

Bought this as a retirement present to myself. After years of choosing practical things, I thought I could have something simply because I liked it. Glad I did.
